Amateur Images of Venus

The Amateur Astronomer community continues to make notable and scientifically valuable contribution to Venus research. We invite members of the Amateur Astronomy/citizen scientist community to share their digital data via the web. The header must include the data and time when the image was taken, the filter used, location and the name of the observer. Please contact planets@ssec.wisc.edu for more information.

The Venus Amateur Observing Project (VAOP) enables amateur astronomers to contribute scientifically useful images and data to complement current (Akatsuki) spacecraft observations. Participants include the Association of Lunar and Planetary Observers (ALPO) and the British Astronomical Association (BAA).
